The future depends on Travis Scott. Never one to follow, the Houston native asserts himself as not only
a leader in music, but also in fashion, culture, and beyond. Rapper and producer Travis Scott, also known as La Flame or Cactus Jack, born in 1991 and originally from Texas, became known during the early 2010s for his heavily Auto-Tuned half-sung/half-rapped vocal style. Travis Scott released his debut album ‘’Rodeo’’ in 2015 (for which he debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s rap album chart), followed by ‘’Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’’ the next year. In 2018 he released his third album ‘’Astroworld’’, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in its first week and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Numerous collaborations followed with other artists, such as one with Quavo in 2017 (Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho) and one with the Cactus Jack collective for the 2019 album JackBoys, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Over the years, he’s had four No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 – Sicko Mode (with Drake), Highest in the Room, The Scotts (Travis Scott and Kid Cudi) and Franchise (with Young Thug and M.I.A.). In total, he has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards and won a Latin Grammy for TKN with Rosalia. After Travis’ intensive mind-blowing show at Lollapalooza 2019 we can’t wait to see him once again headline Lollapalooza Stockholm 2023!
