In 2020, Mumford teamed up with composer Tom Howe to provide the score and theme song for the American sports comedy-drama TV series Ted Lasso. The soundtrack for the second season the program, Ted Lasso: Season 2, appeared in 2021. Mumford issued his first solo album, the cheekily named (self-titled), the following year. It was produced by Blake Mills and featured guest spots from Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo and Monica Martin. This summer Marcus Mumford will play at Lollapalooza Stockholm!
